2025 Market in the Park Overview
We are here to create atmosphere and a reason for people to come to Vermilion and explore not only this market but the rest of our business community. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring local products for sale to residents and visitors coming to downtown Vermilion. Handmade products only.
Dates: Saturdays from July 5 through August 30, 2025—rain or shine.
Time: 10:00am–2:00pm
Set Up Time: 7:30-9:30am
Place: Victory Park, downtown Vermilion—corner of Ohio and Main streets.
Fees: For vendors who commit to participating all 9 weeks, the cost is $160 prepaid for the season (that equals one free week). Otherwise the cost is $20 a day. ALL FEES MUST BE PRE PAID by May 1, 2025. Checks & Credit Cards Accepted. Payment details will be supplied to vendor after application approval. Payments are non-refundable unless Main Street cancels the event.

Regulations
Vendors should arrive by at least 9:30AM and be set-up and ready to sell by 10AM and close sales at 2PM. Vendors must remain at the market until 2PM or until sold out. Shoppers expect you to be there so please do not leave early.
Vendors are responsible for removing all garbage and trash from the area before leaving.
Prices for all items must be visibly posted.
Stands must be operated in a sanitary, neat, and safe manner.
Vendors of such foodstuffs must have appropriate licenses and may be subject to Erie County Health Department inspection and standards for on-site storage. For additional information, click here.

All required licenses must be displayed.
All items must be hand crafted or locally grown. NO direct sales commercially made products or resale items accepted.
Main Street Vermilion is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury.
In respect for those with allergies and asthma there is to be no smoking within the park.
If you cannot attend the market, a 24-hour notice must be given to the Market Manager or designee. No refunds. Failure to contact might result in denial for future markets.
In case of severe weather, or the potential for severe weather, a determination whether or not to cancel the market that day will be made by 7AM on market day via text and e-mail. Please check your phone or email.
